Blame my exams for the 4-month break, and also for no inspiration.

This is the second track of my two-track EP “The Darkening / The Redemption”, both tracks telling the story of a second Changeling attack on Canterlot and the desparate attempts of refugee ponies to save it.

The production took so long mainly because of exams, I was bombarded by them the other month, and they completely drained me from inspiration.

The track is sad and mellow at first, but it quickly turns in to uplifting after the orchestral break, signifying happiness and joy as the ponies help the Changelings realize what they were doing.

It has been a while, hasn’t it…? So much university work to do and no time…

This is the first track of my two-track EP “The Darkening / The Redemption”, both tracks telling the story of a second Changeling attack on Canterlot and the desparate attempts of refugee ponies to save it.

I am sorry that this one took over a month of production time, but I really wanted to make it as good as possible and polish it.

The track is dark, sad and progressive, yet with the hints of uplifting… Maybe a hope? We shall see…

Here we go! Another piece for the Elegy of Disharmony soundtrack done! This one is background music of Sugarcube Corner. I tried to portray the cutness of the whole place, with a bit of Pinkie Pie feel to it. Fully orchestral!

Hey again guys! I decided to join the guys who work on an MLP RPG game called “Elegy of Disharmony” and make soundtrack for their game! This is the first track for the game, and there will be many more, so stay tuned!

This one is Everfree Forest themed (it will be background music for the zone). It is meant to be dark, scary and ambiental. Yep, this is not trance, but more something like a blend of orchestral and ambiental.

Funfact: The very distorted and stuttered sound you can hear at places like 1:03 is actually Rainbow Dash’s voice.

Okay, for this original track, I decided to go towards a bit more harder side of trance. We all know how Applejack is strong and all, yet loyal and can fill your heart with warmth. My idea was to try and describe this using contrasts in my track between beautiful and full-out dark. The track is mostly inspired by the episode “Applebuck Season”. Whole intro of the track describes Applejack getting ready for the Applebuck Season. She is determined to succeed. The moment when the drop happens is the moment where she begins her hard work. I tried to simulate her raw energy and willpower in the drop.

I tried to make something a bit different. It’s trance again, but it has some kind of a happy, yet dark feel to it. I personally am not all THAT happy how it turned out, but I hope you like it… :)

Yay, finally a different intro! Twilight seems to like sending “trance letters” to Princess Celestia! :D

What I like about this track: it sounds a bit different than my previous tracks.
What I don’t like about it: it has a slightly too long intro maybe and the melody is played throughout the whole track.

Also, seems I like to produce trance the most! It fills me with great joy to hear all the harmonic melodies. :)

Ok, I don’t like something with this new track I made. Some producers in here might notice I used a sample for the pad. I am not all that good with creating melodies, and when I heard the sample, I simply WANTED to use it. To compensate for this, I tried layering more synths over the original sample to somewhat mask it… Maybe being my first “original” track, you can somehow look past it.

I still hate myself for using the sample.

Anyway, now that we got over the painful and shameful part of this track, we can actually discuss it!
Obviously, Fluttershy was my inspiration. Don’t say it doesn’t have anything to do with ponies because it is an INSPIRED track. Just a little idea I had… I just thought a trance track would nicely fit with the cuteness that is Fluttershy! :)
